Here’s a quick clip of a Fendt 1038 demo Sam did a couple of days ago. Hard to believe it’s almost the end of December and we are still able to be out in the fields tilling!

Christmas Cookies

We’re so fortunate to have such a great Hanlon team and family! Allison Hebenik, Ken’s wife, was so thoughtful and brought us all homemade baked Christmas treats today. Thank you for all of the effort you put into the cookies Allison! They are delicious!

What a nice gift!

What a nice surprise yesterday to receive these beautiful wreaths and poinsettia’s from our friends at DeVry Greenhouses out of Picture Butte! They had one for each of our employees! Everyone was very grateful and thankful to be thought of this holiday season. Merry Christmas!

Block Heaters

Meet Jalayne Ellis

Jalayne Ellis- Financing, Administration, Safety Guru

When you walk in the door here at Hanlon’s you will likely be greeted with a friendly hello and a big smile from Jalayne. She sits right in the centre of the action in the showroom and definitely adds to the liveliness of the place. She has worked at Hanlon for 12 years now and really loves her job. She says the customers are a big part of why she enjoys working here, but it’s also the staff. “It feels like a family here, and doesn’t just feel like a job,” she says. “I wouldn’t drive an hour to work everyday if I didn’t like the people,” she laughs.

For the past 6 years, every day Jalayne makes the commute from her home in Vulcan. She and her husband Jeff, along with their Husky-Wolf cross named Brandi, have lived there together for 6 years. They recently tied the knot last year, after almost 7 years of dating, and are planning to start their family in the near future.

When Jalayne isn’t at work, or traveling to get to work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. In the warmer months you can usually catch her at her family campground, which is basically her home away from home. Jalayne also enjoys playing baseball with her team in the summer.

A few random facts about Jalayne… Born and raised in Picture Butte, doesn’t like odd numbers, used to be shy, and she says she “may or may not have a problem with buying too many [eye] glasses.”
