The Fendt ErgoSteer joystick is designed to help!
Long hours at the wheel of a tractor can cause neck and shoulder pain, resulting in feeling fatigued. Fendt’s new retrofittable joystick allows you to sit comfortably in a relaxed position while steering and maneuvering your tractor-reducing fatigue that is caused by strain.
The joystick is mounted on the adjustable armrest, making it easy for you to adapt your work environment to your desired comfort level.
The “plug and play” type joystick not only improves operator comfort, but is also very user-friendly; even for occasional drivers. Maintaining straight lines requires little effort as the self-centering action will gently nudge the tractor and return it to the desired direction when the operator wishes to do so.
Loader work is smooth and efficient while using the joystick. Because responsiveness is better than when using the steering wheel, the tractor is able to perform manoeuvres faster. The sensitivity can be adjusted on the terminal to suit operator preference. This responsiveness also relays back to field and off-farm operations ensuring turning manoeuvres are quick and flawless!
Equipping your tractor with this handy feature takes about 90 minutes with no need for a software update or activation. It is able to retrofit onto any Fendt 500 to 1000 Vario tractor that has Profi+ package and a FendtONE operating system.
Two parts are necessary; you will order the joystick and harnessing then the appropriate armrest module for your tractor. The parts department will determine the correct armrest part based on tractor serial number; so please have this available when you call.
