Perfecting the Pass
Lemken’s Rubin 10 Takes the Lead…

Known for their versatility and one-pass performance, Lemken’s Rubin line of compact discs are designed to function as all-in-one, multi-use implements. Whether it’s needed for manure incorporation, burying tough stubble or leveling out a slough bed, this tillage tool delivers optimal results with a smooth and clean finish.
Even though the Rubin 9 has already set a high-standard for fall tillage tools, Lemken took it one step further with the release of the Rubin 10 earlier this year. Raising the bar even higher, the new implement is designed with additional cost and time saving upgrades.
The cost savings begin with the design of the left and right blades on the front row, which produce symmetrical forces and eliminate side draft. With the implement pulling straight, fuel efficiency is boosted and it provides precise pass alignment for GPS.
The DuraMaxx concave discs are hardened, tempered and upgraded to a 25” wide diameter. This makes them 30 per cent stronger than conventional discs and gives them a longer service life. The discs are equipped with overload protection and spring elements allowing them to individually deflect when hitting obstacles. Blockage is avoided due to the offset middle discs, which provide maximum clearance, uniform mixing and even cultivation across the entire working width.
Lemken manufactured the new Rubin 10 to require less maintenance with its enclosed disc bearing design. The angular ball bearings don’t require adjustment or lubrication and are protected from dirt, moisture, or coiling twine and wire.
Another major advantage, unique to the Rubin 10, is the hydraulic depth control which is adjustable from inside the cab. The Rubin 10 is the first in the line available in a 7 metre working width and the discs allow for about a 5.5 inch working depth.
For a versatile tool which provides shallow cultivation in a variety of soil conditions, look to Lemken’s Rubin 10- it will surely pass the test.
