What an exciting day it was yesterday to be able to see these new balers in action! The demo day got going quickly and these 2370UHD’s were out in the field in no time. For this week’s Maintenance Monday we would like to remind you to check the tension of the main chain on your big square baler. This should be done daily as it can easily lose tension causing it to skip cogs on your baler. When this happens, your timing will be off which in turn can cause you to sacrifice bale quality. For this week’s Maintenance Monday we just want to send out a friendly reminder- storing toolboxes or other heavy objects in the front of your cab is never a great idea. It doesn’t take much for these objects to hit the glass. So keep those windshields in one piece and exercise a little caution when getting ready to head out for the day.

When it comes to replacing these, taking apart the entire header isn’t a quick task. This week Shane demonstrates a quick and easy way to turn a 45 minute job into a 5 minute job.
