The New Morris 10 Series Air Cart

When time is of the essence during seeding, the last thing you want to be concerned about is your product rates and accuracy. Morris’ 10 series air carts save you time in the field, while producing highly accurate seed rates you can be confident in. This air cart is engineered to provide the right combination of accuracy, speed and efficiency.

Product delivery has never been better with the powerful new electric driven metering system– specific to the new 10 series model. Enhanced product delivery is achieved with 24V brushless motors with infinitely adjustable rates.

This system provides 3 times the power compared to most competitors. A 40:1 worm drive gearbox and Morris’ highly accurate spiral fluted metering wheel, deliver continuous product flow throughout at 20-300 lb per acre rates. The dual spiral metering wheel in the optimizer tank achieves exceptional low-rate accuracy at 1-50 lb per acre rates. Large 22” diameter fans with 19 cc hydraulic motors also make it capable of moving big rates.

To assist with accuracy and control, Topcon technology provides optimal low-rate metering capability with superb accuracy and product rate control in 7-10 foot sections. Each tank is also equipped with load cells to ensure the operator is aware of exactly what is going in and out. Camera mounting brackets and self sealing grommets provide the option to add extra eyes on the operation.

Keeping things moving in the field is paramount when seeding; the 10 series ensures quick fills with an impressive 100 + bushel per minute load time. The single belt conveyor and low profile hopper deliver a fast and easy fill.

Large top lids and hoppers with steep angles also allow for efficient filling and emptying. All major adjustments are easily accessible in one place on the left side of the tank. These include the tank shut offs, double shoot selector, quick access doors for cleanout, as well as, calibration and metering inspection. When on the move, dynamic calibration allows for checks and corrections on the go.

Night visibility is not an issue with the 250000 lumen system which lights the tank,the walkways, under the tanks and on the drill. Quality components like military grade harnessing, durable, maintenance-free motors, high grade stainless steel and UV resistant powder coat paint extend the life of the machine.

The 10 series air cart is available in three models with 660, 820 and 1050 bushel capacity. They can be ordered in both two behind and tow between configurations.
