Fendt Ideal Combine Harvest
An Ideal Way to Harvest
Fendt’s IDEAL combine is setting industry standards in efficiency and productivity.
With the new slogan, “Grow Bold” Fendt is changing the harvesting landscape with the IDEAL combine. Not only does this machine look pretty sleek, it delivers results that are setting new standards across the industry. The Fendt IDEAL is a high capacity combine, with automated harvest technology that yields industry leading precision. Couple this with up to 790 horsepower and an MAN engine, and you’ve got a machine that provides high output, is efficient on fuel and also maintains a smooth and quiet ride.
Dual Helix Processor
It all starts with the dual helix processor which comes standard on the 8,9 and 10 models. It works by separating the crop intake in half, then processing it over each of the 16’ rotors. This threshes and separates the entire crop gently while maintaining even crop distribution at lower rotor speeds.
Another unique feature is the IDEAL Balance™ return pans which can compensate for up to 15% slope to minimize crop loss. Their one-of-a-kind design effectively controls the crop throughout the machine which improves the cleaning process. This is done with a front concave pan moving material to the middle and a rear pan that moves the crop outwards.

Cyclone Cleaning System
The cyclone cleaning system features a triple fan to deliver maximum air output. This makes it possible to adjust between speeds
quickly and also separate post threshing. The IDEAL has the longest sieves on the market providing highly effective cleaning. The curved shape uses gravity and aerodynamics to increase efficiency.
Next in line is the active spread tailboard delivering up to 50’ spreading width. The baffles for the residue management system can be controlled from the cab, allowing for wind speed compensation.
Grain Tank
Another noteworthy feature is the super-sized 485 bushel grain tank and Steamer™ 6.0 unloader. Together these work to maximize field time by providing an industry first, 6 bu/sec, average unload rate. Hydraulic gates in the hopper are able to slow things down if necessary, while an available 34.8’ auger can compensate for big headers.
Track Ride
Supporting it all is the available IDEAL TrackRide™ system which has a centre pivot design, twin accumulators and sealed bearings for low maintenance. It delivers a big footprint with 26”, 30” or 36” widths, and provides unparalleled floatation to reduce compaction and improve traction.
The drive system is made up of three, easily accessible gearboxes which come off the engine. The direct drives have 13 belts and only a few hydraulic drives which make it very fuel efficient.
Vision Cab
Operator control, comfort and visibility are paramount in this machine. The IDEAL vision cab has a large window allowing for 360º panoramic views. It comes standard with a heated and cooled leather seat and all of the controls are at your fingertips and easily reached from the armrest. Steering wheels come standard, however, joystick controls are available if you’re looking to increase visibility and reduce operator strain.
The VarioTerminal is able to display what is happening on both the inside and outside of the combine. Pair this with the IDEAL Harvest™ App to allow the operator to see a real-time visual of what is happening. Using an extra screen will allow it to project on a display from either the inside or outside of the combine.
To tie the IDEAL experience all together, is a warranty which stands behind the equipment. With Fendt Gold Star Customer Care, the purchaser receives a 3 year or 1200 hour engine warranty, with a $0 deductible and full machine coverage. It also includes all parts and labour for all factory recommended maintenance.
