9300 Series Disc Header

Heading Up High Quality Hay
The 9300 Series Disc Header improves foliage processing and preservation.
Getting the right cut is at the foundation of high quality hay and Massey Ferguson is continually perfecting this art. The evidence is clear when it comes to their 9300 series disc headers. New upgrades to the header were introduced a little over a year ago, and since that time they have proven to be an efficient and effective tool in the field.
Improvements begin with the new hi-flow augers behind the cutterbar. These reduce the chance of double header double cut while improving windrow formation and crop feeding. It features a new solid, fully enclosed cage which is ideal for crop flow as it prevents buildup and is gentle on the leaves.
Other enhancements are the new side panel which gives direct access to the drive belts from the outside of the machine. The new self-adjusting cage belts also help deliver consistent tension to the auger. Updates to the frame improve crop flow while also providing more consistent roll pressure and crimp.
A few additional key advantages are increased service intervals on the drivelines (up to 50 hours), the ability to dump roll pressure from the cab, and the new style belt material and mechanism which provides more consistent tension for an improved swath.
The headers are still available with the tried and true RazorBar™ cutter and TwinMax™ dual conditioner. These are excellent at preserving foliage and providing optimal drydown. The large tandem hydraulic pumps and cab roll adjustment have also stayed the same; ensuring consistent crimp and knife roll speed. The RazorBar™ still maintains its title as the strongest and most durable cutterbar in the industry.
In the world of hay, it’s a well known fact Hesston by Massey Ferguson produces industry leading equipment- the 9300 is just one more example of how this industry standard is set.
