Brandt’s New Ag Blade
Making Moves in Agriculture

Throughout the construction industry, Brandt’s blades are well-known for their reliability, durability and quality. Now, Brandt has taken this knowledge and developed a blade specifically for the agriculture industry. The new “Ag Blade” is designed for use with articulated four wheel drive tractors. Whether it is needed for moving snow, silage, maintenance work or grading, Brandt’s blade is up for the task.
The new blade is available in 40” and 48” heights and has lengths ranging from 12 to 20 feet. The 40” blade can dig around 8-12 inches deep and the 48” blade can dig at around 14-17 inches deep. It features a hydraulic quick coupler, radial lift design and mitered blade ends. It can also be equipped with an optional work light add-on kit.
For added efficiency and precision, Brandt’s new ag blade can be hydraulically adjusted to a 14 degree tilt to ensure specific placement of material. The blade angle, which is also adjusted hydraulically, is maneuverable to 30 degrees in either direction, allowing for superior control of material flow.
Like the construction blades, Brandt has designed this blade to be highly durable. The top blade extension is laser cut, protecting the lift cylinders from debris. The precise hollow square cuts also ensure the operator’s visibility is not hindered. The reversible cutting edge is designed with abrasion resistant steel to withstand harsh conditions. The mushroom-style skid shoes reduce wear by ensuring the weight is evenly distributed across a larger area of the blade.
Not only does this blade shine by being highly durable and efficient, but it is also ergonomic and cost effective. It comes with an easy to install mount which fits into the tractors existing frame mount holes so there is no need to drill or weld. Colour coded hydraulic couplers ensure easy and stress-free connections. The blade can also be equipped with various add-ons to ensure it is able to meet the needs of a wide range of operations.
