Brandt Torsion Harrow & HP Torsion Harrow

Heavy Harrows Built for Prairie Acres

Looking to cover big acres and leave a consistent, seed-ready finish? Brandt’s heavy harrows deliver reliable residue management, even down-pressure, and fast in-field adjustments to match your conditions. Choose the Torsion Harrow (50–82 ft / 15.2–25.0 m) in 5- or 7-bar configurations, or step up to the HP Torsion Harrow (100–120 ft / 30.5–36.6 m) for maximum productivity. Long-lasting carbide tines help maintain cutting performance and finish quality season after season.

Why Farmers Choose Brandt Heavy Harrows

  • Consistent down-pressure across the full width for uniform seed-bed preparation.
  • Fast, simple setup and transport: torsion harrows fold to 14 ft (4.3 m) transport width; HP models fold to 18 ft (5.5 m) wide and 12 ft (3.7 m) high.
  • Durable, low-maintenance design with steel hydraulic lines, sealed bushings (HP), and a premium powder-coat finish.
  • On-the-go tine angle range from 5° to 50° (optional hydraulic adjustment) to match residue and moisture.
  • Carbide-tipped tines with a 2.5 in tip provide longer wear (≈25% more tip length than many competitors). Available in 26, 28, or 30 in lengths (66, 71, or 76 cm).

Torsion Harrow — Overview (50–82 ft)

Built to run day in, day out, the Torsion Harrow offers 5-bar for breaking and shattering straw, or 7-bar for maximum ground impact and even spread. A rotating main beam applies more or less pressure as field conditions change, while flexible sections let torsion bars react independently for an even finish. Hydraulic wheel height and hydraulic wing latching speed field-to-road transitions. Premium couplers and steel hydraulic lines support long-term reliability. Transport width is 14 ft (4.3 m). Optional hydraulic tine adjustment lets you move from 5° to 50° on the go.
