Massey Ferguson 16′ Disc Header Slingers

Worn slingers can slow down material, jam it up and cause belts to burn. It doesn’t take much wear before it can start to cause issues. In our northern climate, our hay producers have quite heavy crops as they are only doing about three cuts a year.

With Massey Ferguson’s 16′ disc headers, we have found a larger slinger helps everything feed a bit more smoothly when working in these heavy crops. We’ve developed our own slinger design in order to try and mitigate some of these issues. Our slingers are a bit bigger by about 3/8″.
