Looking to cover acres efficiently—whether you’re skimming off a shallow pass or working deeper to incorporate residue? The LEMKEN Karat 10 delivers low draft, blockage-free performance with the versatility prairie farms need. Available in working widths from ~10–23 ft (3–7 m) and suited to tractors from 105–490 hp (75–360 kW), it’s built to run clean, mix aggressively, and leave the field level.

Why Farmers Choose the Karat 10

  • Exceptionally low draught thanks to tines arranged symmetrically to the towing axle—great for fuel savings and accurate guidance with autosteer.
  • Blockage-free operation with large bar spacing and 80 cm (≈31.5 in) underframe clearance—keeps you moving in heavy trash.
  • From shallow to deep in minutes with a no-tools quick-change system for shares and points.
  • Optimal levelling across the full width with centrally adjustable levelling elements.
  • Dial-in versatility: optional leading disc section, hydraulic traction booster, ContourTrack depth control in hills, and a broad roller range.

Work Quality & Residue Management

Full-surface cutting on the first pass. Equip widened wing shares for a true blanket cut at ~11.8–12.2 in (30–31 cm) line spacing, ideal for flat stubble cultivation. For ultra-shallow work (< 2 in / 5 cm), DeltaCut shares slice residue with minimal soil movement. For deeper tillage, swap to narrow or wider points as needed—no tools required.

Leading disc section (optional). ~20.5 in (520 mm) individually sprung discs pre-chop material and break clods. Hydraulic depth adjustment from the cab makes it easy to match conditions on the go.

Precise pass alignment. Boundary discs or side shields maintain the edge profile; boundary discs can be folded mechanically or hydraulically for fence lines and headlands.

Keeps Moving in Heavy Trash

Generous geometry keeps residue flowing:

  • Mounted versions: ~11.8 in (30 cm) line spacing, ~27.6/27.6 in (70/70 cm) beam spacing, ~31.5 in (80 cm) underframe.
  • Semi-mounted versions: ~12.2 in (31 cm) line spacing, ~39.4/39.4 in (100/100 cm) beam spacing, ~31.5 in (80 cm) underframe. This layout is designed for blockage-free work even in high-volume residue.

Quick-Change Shares & Wear Options

Switch between setups quickly using the standard quick-change system (secured by a linch pin). Choose wear options to match your acres: standard, carbide, or hard-faced. No wrenches, no power tools—just swap and go.

Finishing Tools & Rollers

Round out the job with the right trailing roller for reconsolidation and an even finish. Add a single-row harrow to pull soil from roots and promote quick volunteer/weed germination for the next pass. A comprehensive accessories range helps tailor the machine to your soils and goals.

Slope & Traction Solutions (Semi-Mounted)

  • ContourTrack keeps a constant working depth through hills and hollows by adding a pivot and hydraulic control—preventing shallow work in dips and over-working on knolls.
  • Hydraulic traction booster (“smart ballasting”) shifts load to the tractor, reducing slip and saving fuel.
