A Charge in the Right Direction
MagrowTec’s magnetic assist technology improves spray coverage and reduces chemical costs.
The technology is referred to as “nanobubbles” which are ultra-fine bubbles comparable to the size of a virus (about ten to a thousandth of a nanometer). When introduced to an application product, these nanobubbles create a magnetic charge in the solution which helps to “attract” the chemical to the target. It reduces drift significantly; up to 70 per cent, resulting in minimal product waste. It also forms smaller droplet sizes to provide better foliage coverage and help to prevent leaf burn. According to MagrowTec’s studies, it can lower chemical costs by up to 25 per cent.

Nanobubbles are incorporated into the application product by means of a boomkit range which is attached to the boom of the sprayer. This consists of manifolds which are attached to the main body of the sprayer and rods which are fitted to the boom. MagrowTec’s BoomKit 7000 can be retrofitted to any sprayer boom no matter what make or model. It is easily installed and maintained. The BoomKit can also be removed and reinstalled on a different sprayer if a new one is purchased. The entire kit weighs just under 17kg.
