A few months ago the MF 6S tractor launched in North America as a productive small size tractor that can deliver big tractor power. It consists of 4 models ranging from 145 to 180 hp along with a 4 cylinder, 4.9L AGCO Power™ engine. Due to its more compact size, it is agile for a variety of tasks and gives the producer a tool that is able to manage multiple applications quickly and efficiently.
Two transmission options are available; either a Dyna-6™ or Dyna-VT™. Dyna-6 maximizes fuel efficiency with 24 forward and back speeds, while the VT gives the operator the ability to set the exact speed without impacting the engine RPM. An optional 50 gal/min load sensing hydraulic system is also available with the Dyna-VT transmission. This tractor can do well with heavy loads and larger implements.
A long wheel base is another key feature as it delivers an ideal power to weight ratio for excellent traction, stability and manoeuvrability. It also has a longer maintenance interval reducing operational costs and downtime.
The interior of the 6S is also noteworthy. It offers remarkable comfort with front end suspension and the same layout and design found in the larger 8S tractor. Primarily the simplicity of the colour coded design for controls, the ergonomic armrest with the MultiPad lever and the multifunction joystick. It is also available with the Datatronic™ 5 terminal with an easy-to-use, customizable, digital dashboard.
